Good Morning Warrior!
Oh Hallelujah! It’s the Lord’s Day! Word for the Da (Exodus 36) “The Gift that keeps on Giving” Text: Exodus 36:4-5 “Then all the craftsmen who were doing all the work of the sanctuary came, each from the work he was doing, and they spoke to Moses, saying, “The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work which the LORD commanded us to do.” Our Commander, “The Gift that keeps on Giving,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning. The people are so caught up in the mercy of God giving them a second chance to build a tabernacle where they can meet with God - that they have radically given offerings, even too much so that they were restrained from giving more! Their love for God and their gratefulness to God compelled them to give beyond generously. Aaaah yes, we are never more like our Commander Jesus Christ than when we give passionately and generously to His work like He gave His life for you and I. After all Jesus is the Gift of God(John 4:10), and He is the “Gift that keeps on Giving” as our High Priest Who never stops praying for you and I (Heb.7:25). When the Warrior re-discovers the Value of the Gift of their Commander they will be compelled to give passionately and generously to God and His work just like He gave to you and I; and He continues to give to you and I as our Commander and High Priest. “Our life is a gift from God; the way we live it for His glory is our gift to Him.” Let’s imitate our Commander and King and be a gift to God that keeps on giving to God and His work. Oooh Rah! Warrior at your side, Jesus and Billy Semper Fidelis |
