Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(Deuteronomy 31:14 -32:14)
“The Warrior’s Song”
Text: Deuteronomy 31:19
“Now therefore, write down this song for yourselves, and teach it to the children of Israel; put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for Me against the children of Israel.”
“The Warrior’s Song” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
After God revealed the future apostasy of Israel to Moses, He gave Moses a Song to Teach Israel. The song would be a Testimony of Who God IS and What He’s Done, in spite of Israel’s changing character of obedience and lawlessness.
God Is Unchanging while mankind is frequently changing.
God Gives you and I a song also; our Growing Personal Testimony that Declares Who Our God IS and What He has Done and is still Doing in our Life. This is The Warrior’s Song.
The Song We Sing Is The Life We Live”
God Gave Moses this Song to Teach Israel to Sing again and again; so that it would remind them:
Who God IS and What He Has Done - and it would also remind them of The Life They Lived as a Nation:
“A Life of Obedience and Blessing - and
A Life of Disobedience and Cursing…”
This was The Song of Moses.
It’s easier to remember and rehearse Words and Events (like Who God Is and What He’s Done), “when you attach them to the melody of a Song…..”
We sing our Warrior’s Song In good times of celebration and on the battlefields of faith…..
“I will sing of Your Great Love
I will tell the Wonders of
What You’ve Done in this life
With my Song Testify
I will live and not die
Lord You are Good and I will sing
Your mercy endures it’s everlasting
Lord You are Good and I will sing a song of Worship…..”
Yes, the Warrior’s Song is a Growing Song as God adds “new verses” of His Faithfulness to make us triumph over every challenge we face! (2Corin.2:14)
And God keeps the Warrior’s Song new and fresh as we sing it over and over again; rehearsing and remembering “Who You ARE LORD, Unchanging Perfect Love, Grace, and Mercy.”
As we sing our Song in the way we live, we teach others the fear and wonder of Who Our God IS!
Many will see this “new song,” in our life and fear God, and come to trust God. King David sang these verses:
“I waited patiently for the LORD;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.
He has put a new song in my mouth--
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the LORD.(Psa.40:1-3).
Oh by Hallelujah!
