Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"A Time to Weep and A Time to Rejoice"
"And Nehemiah, who was the governor, Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, “This day is holy to the Lord your God; do not mourn nor weep.” For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the Law."
Oh wow! Here is another wonderful Breakfast this morning; the bitter-sweetness of Repentance and Forgiveness!
The bitterness of godly sorrow that leads to genuine repentance; also brings the dawn of forgiveness and cleansing of all unrighteousness; that leads to the sweetness of restoration to righteousness in Christ!(1Corin.1:30-31).
Oh yes, "weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning," (Psa.30:5).
The people, having understood the law, were confronted with their sin and wept in godly sorrow; the natural effect of a sincere heart.
This is why the Warrior spends so much time reading, chewing, and devouring the Word of God. God's Word is like a "mirror" that shows us how God sees us, not how we appear to others, (James 1:23-25). Some people may walk away and forget the sermon they heard, the Word that they read; but Warriors who have walked with their Commander will weep as their Commander also weeps over their sin! His sorrow makes us feel sorrow. His joy makes us feel joy. Because He lives in us!
Some people even mark their Bibles - but a Warrior's Bible "marks the Warrior" and makes the Warrior more like their Commander! Oooh Rah!
Listen up Warrior! Failure is an event, not a destination. Repent from it, Learn from it, Grow from it, and Move on; back into the fight for a Righteousness.
Stay on Mission my fellow Warrior. Our Commander deserves our Faithfulness and this world of lost sheep desperately need our Light and Salt to rescue them from sin.
There is a Time to Weep from the failures of sin, but there's the Dawning of a new day waiting for those who repent!
Warrior at your side,
