Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
“Building with Love”
Text: Nehemiah 3:5
“Next to them the Tekoites made repairs; but their nobles did not put their shoulders to the work of their Lord.”
“Building with Love,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
God builds us with His Love; creating us, correcting us, forgiving us, restoring us, and making us more like Him as we Love, Trust, and Obey Him.
Together we Build the wall of Righteousness in our life with His Love for us and Our Love for Him.
This building project begins in our heart which is God’s Dwelling Place, and extends to our family, and then extends to our church community.
This is Building with Love.
This remnant of Israel loved God more than the comforts of Babylon and that’s why they left Babylon and came back to Jerusalem; to build the temple and the wall of Jerusalem, the City of God.
The Tekoites were exceptional in showing their love for God’s City by building in Two separate sections of the great wall (v.5, v.27). The other groups of workers built one section each. All of these workers Built with Love.
Another point of great love for God is that the Tekoites did this building without the support of their nobles. The only ones who did not join in this building project were the nobles of the Tekoites. Their love for their comfort was greater than their love for God’s City.
Listen up Warrior! Your Walls of Righteousness are built with God’s Love for you and Your Love for God. You Build with Love TOGETHER! Ooooh Rah!
