Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(Deut.:23:9 - 24:22)
“Clean The House”
“For the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that He may see no unclean thing among you, and turn away from you.”
“Clean the House,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning. How easily our house can become dirty from the dirt outside, soil we track into the house, and stuff that clings to us from the world we walk in. If not cleaned regularly it can become unhealthy to live in. So also is our “spiritual house,” God’s temple (1Corin.3:16-17).
Our text reminds us that our “Commander walks in the midst of our camp, ‘our house;’ and therefore, we must keep our house clean - body, soul, and mind. He is holy and He expects us to be holy also.
The Bible shows us ways to Clean our House regularly. “How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word.”(Psa.119:9). The Warrior meets with God in morning, noon, and evening; chewing on their Commander’s Word, ‘cleansing their ways,’ attitudes, behavior, and thoughts with the Word of God. And God has given us Holy Spirit our Helper to live in us and help us to keep our house clean always: “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.”(John 14:16-17)
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”(John 14:26).
Listen up Warrior! Our Commander and King is with us and He’s given us The Helper to help us keep our house clean and holy. This will keep us united in God and Invincible before our enemies of spiritual wickedness. This is how the Warrior walks with their Commander and King; in a clean house, a clean heart, and a clean mind, cleansed by the Word of God. Wash, Rinse, and Repeat. Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
