Good Morning Warrior!
It’s The Lord’s Day, Hallelujah!
Word for the Day:
“Cleaning The House”
“In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of the house of the LORD and repaired them.
Then he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them in the East Square,
and said to them: “Hear me, Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry out the rubbish from the holy place.”
“Cleaning The House,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
It seems like we’re always cleaning the house these days. As soon as we dust and mop new dust settles and we need to clean again. Our heart is that way also. In all our daily activity “spiritual dust, clutter, and rubbish from the world we live in,” can silently fall unnoticed in our heart; and it’s Time To Clean The House!
This is what King Hezekiah did in the First Month of the First Year of his reign - He Cleaned The House of God! Ooooh Rah! This was the first thing on his To Do List!
To Clean The House we must begin with our heart - God’s House and Dwelling Place. Hezekiah told the priests to sanctify themselves to God first and then go into His House and take all the rubbish out!
We must first sanctify ourself, dedicate ourself to God First before we can enter the Holy Place of His House.
Cleaning God’s House begins with our Heart.
Take some time with Holy Spirit today and walk with Him “throughout your heart,” and do some dusting, mopping, maybe cleaning some dirty windows that prevent His light from shining out of you. Let our prayer be:
“Holy Spirit help me to hear You speaking to me that it’s Time To Clean The House of my heart. Show me the rubbish I’ve allowed to settle in my heart, the stuff that offends You. Thank You Holy Spirit for Helping me Clean God’s House, my heart. And help me to Always Keep it Clean for my King! In Jesus Name I Pray, Amen.”
Warrior at your side,
