Good Morning Warrior!
Hallelujah! It’s The Lord’s Day!
Word for the Day:
“Cleansed from sin”
Text: Numbers 19:9
“Then a man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and store them outside the camp in a clean place; and they shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for the water of purification; it is for purifying from sin.”
“Cleansed from sin”” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
The water of purification was for the purifying from sin. It was a type of our Commander Jesus Christ Who suffered and died outside the camp on a Cross; pouring out His soul unto death (Isa.53:12) and sprinkling many nations (Isa.52:15).
Jesus Christ is The Water of Purification that cleanses you and I from sin.
He shared this with His disciples at the last supper by washing their feet. (John 13:5-11).
Unless we let Jesus and His Word “wash us” every day we have no part with Him (John 13:8).
He washes our feet with His Word continually as we come to Him for cleansing from the daily stuff of life that we pass through. We walk in obedience and trust in His Word (John 13:10).
Every day as we meet with our Commander and King for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner He washes our feet with His Word and cleanses us from sin as we surrender to Him in Love, Trust, and Obedience.
“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1John 1:7).
This is how a person cleanses their ways; by seeking, meditating upon, and applying the Word of God to their daily life (Psa.119:9-16).
This is how we can be Cleansed from sin. Oooooh Rah!
