Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"Drawn By His Love"
"Then the heads of the fathers’ houses of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and the Levites, with all whose spirits God had moved, arose to go up and build the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem."
As I chewed on Breakfast this morning, my heart was stirred by our Commander's Love for you and I.
From our first act of Repentance of sin, that brought Christ into our life; to the daily fellowship we enjoy with Him today - it is His Love that stirs our heart and draws us to Him. Love never stops drawing us to Him.
Cyrus was a symbol of Jesus proclaiming liberty to the sinner. Bound and oppressed by sin, we wanted to be free. God saw our heart, touched us with His Love; and has been drawing us deeper into His image and likeness ever since (2Corin.3:18).
Some of the captives had become comfortable in Babylon and wanted to stay there. Others were still wanting to "go home."
God's Love touched the hearts of these "home sick" prisoners, "all whose spirits God had moved." These folks were "Drawn by God's Love out of Babylon back to their home in Jerusalem.
Our Commander still touches the hearts of people today. Some are comfortable living in Babylon - but some are "home sick" for a better life. They're thirsty for a personal relationship with Jesus because they see your "salty" life with Jesus. You really are the Salt of the earth my fellow Warrior!
Whoever yields and surrenders to His Love is drawn to repentance and relationship with Love Himself (Rom.2:4).
As Warriors, we are His Bondservants, Drawn By His Love as Paul was (Rom.1:1).
Our Commander is behind every good thing we do or say, living in us, working in us to Will and to Do what He Desires (Phil.2:12-13).
Yes, through all the seasons of Life, Warriors are Drawn By His Love!"
Warrior at your side,
