Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
“Fear Not for I Am With You”
Text: Genesis 26:24
“And the LORD appeared to him the same night and said, “I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham’s sake.”
“Fear Not for I Am With You,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
God had reminded Isaac of His Covenant with his Father Abraham, which had now passed to Isaac with Abraham’s death.
Fear Not for I Am With You!
Although there was a famine in the land, God told Isaac not to leave the land for Egypt, but stay in the Promised Land and he would be blessed because of his obedience.
“Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.
And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed;
because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.” (Gen. 26:3-5).
This reminds me of how many times God has blessed me in the famine seasons of my life. I’ve found that The Blessing Is His Presence With Me. He Is The Blessing!
Knowing that God Is With You and I, and that He Will Finish what He Started in our life (Phil.1:6), brings Great Confidence and Peace to you and I....
Just think about this! God is with You in the middle of famine, disaster, chaos, grief, sickness, or financial ruin; Because He Said He Would Be!
Aaaah, when You and I :
“Turn our eyes upon Jesus
Look Full in His Wonderful Face
And the things of earth
Will grow strangely dim
In the light of His Glory and Grace.....”
When you and I forget God’s Covenant with us as Descendants of Abraham, we become afraid. We feel alone, unprotected, and fear and panic rules our heart.
That’s what happened to Isaac!
The first rule of fear is that it is a lie!
Fear tells us that we’re alone, helpless, and without hope -
Faith reminds us that We Are Never Alone as a Warrior of Almighty God!
“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
So we may boldly say:
“The LORD is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” (Heb.13:5-6).
Our Commander and King Jesus Christ, Almighty God is With You and I At All Times!
There is no weapon of hell that is formed against you and I that can penetrate the Awesome Presence of Almighty God!
Fear Not For I Am With You Says Your Father Almighty God! Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
