Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(Esther 9 & 10)
“Feasts of Remembrance”
Text: Esther 9:26-27
“So they called these days Purim, after the name Pur. Therefore, because of all the words of this letter, what they had seen concerning this matter, and what had happened to them,
the Jews established and imposed it upon themselves and their descendants and all who would join them, that without fail they should celebrate these two days every year, according to the written instructions and according to the prescribed time,”
“Feasts of Remembrance,” are on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
These three days of feasting and celebrating Purim, are Still Celebrated by Israel to REHEARSE AND REMEMBER God’s Miraculous Deliverance from And TRIUMPH over the enemies of His People.
The Counter Decree of the king authorized the Jews to kill all who attacked them, and even the king and his soldiers helped the Jews kill their enemies. Lastly, the fear of this miraculous work of God brought many people to repentance and they became Jews.
This story of Esther and Mordecai and Wicked Haman continues today in the lives of God’s Warriors.
You and I live among that wicked spirit of Haman, the enemy of our soul. However, we have a Counter Decree from Almighty God, to destroy the works of the enemy; (1John 3:8) and we also have our Commander, God of Battles on our side (Rom.8:31).
When we gain our Victory we should be quick to have a feast with our Commander by celebrating His Grace and Mercy and Faithfulness “that got Him and us the Victory!
“Oh, sing to the LORD a new song!
For He has done marvelous things;
His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory!” Ooooh Rah!
When was the last time you Rehearsed and Remembered a great victory God Won for you on the battlefield of Faith?
Aaaah, there’s so many battles that He has caused you and I to triumph over our enemies! We can feast with Him all the time, Remembering and Rehearsing the Wonderful Works of God in our Life.
Sure, we may forget about them sometimes, but our Helper Holy Spirit will REMIND us of them, and He will Stir Our Hearts, once again, With Praise and Worship for our Commander, God of Battles! Oh Hallelujah! Let’s have another Feast of Remembrance Today! Ooooh Rah!
On this last Breakfast of 2021 let’s reflect on the marvelous works of God that He has done in our life this year as we have enjoyed Breakfast with Him every morning.
I salute you Warrior for your faithfulness in keeping your Breakfast Dates With Jesus this year. Tomorrow Morning we begin a new year and a new chapter in our Journey Together With Our Commander Jesus Christ! Ooooh Rah!
Feel free to share these devotions with others, as lessons, sermons, and simple conversations. They are all from God to you to share with anyone and everyone freely! Oooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
Jesus and Billy
