Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(1 Chron.10 & 11)
"Following Our Father's Heart"
Text: 1Chron. 11:9
"So David went on and became great, and the LORD of hosts was with him."
"Following Our Father's Heart," as His Warrior, is on our menu for Breakfast this morning. After Saul the first king of Israel "died for his unfaithfulness," God found David, "a man after His own heart," (1Sam.13:14)
King David Followed his Father's Heart because he Loved God. As a shepherd boy and as a grown man, David Followed his Father's Heart through betrayal, loneliness, and being hunted as a fugitive marked for death by his own countrymen - because of Love. God was with him through it all. Greatness has a price of Humility that is grown from pain and suffering. This Greatness is balanced with Humility; and this is what produces a Servant Leader.
Our Commander Jesus is the Perfect Model of a Servant Leader. As His Father's Righteous Servant He suffered the pain of judgement for ALL the sins of mankind (Isa.53:11) and He received the Name above all names:
"Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."(Phil.2:9-11).
Because of Love, Our Commander Jesus Christ Followed His Father's Heart:
"And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.”(John 8:29).
Because of Love, David Followed God's Heart
Because of Love, the Warrior Follows their Father's Heart; The Father's Heart and the Warrior's Heart Is Becoming One Heart! Because of God's Amazing Love... Oooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
