Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
“Giving With A Grateful Heart”
Text: Numbers 7:2
“Then the leaders of Israel, the heads of their fathers’ houses, who were the leaders of the tribes and over those who were numbered, made an offering.”
The Joy of “Giving With A Grateful Heart,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
The Joy celebrating the setting up and anointing of the Tabernacle lasted 12 days! Each day a leader of each tribe Gave a Dedication Offering With A Grateful Heart.
Each Leader modeled this Giving for their tribe, and each offering was the same to prevent any tribe exalting itself over the others by the size of their gift.
Each tribe had an equal share in the Tabernacle’s Blessing so that’s why they each gave equal offerings.
The purpose of the Dedication Offering was for “the work of the Tabernacle of Meeting.” The offering was distributed among the Levites for their service and work of the Tabernacle.
This Grace of Giving With a Grateful Heart was displayed in the churches of Macedonia “... who first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the Will of God.”(2Corin.8:5).
Some had more than others and Some had very little; but everyone gave what they could, to the Lord first and then to His servants.
A Grateful Heart gives themself First to God and then to those who do the work of His Mission.
This is what Israel did in this Dedication Offering; and this is what the Warrior does today:
“For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.
For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened;
but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack—that there may be equality.
As it is written, “He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.” (2Corin.8:12-15).
Giving With a Grateful Heart Gives First to God, and then to
His servants by the Will of God! Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
