Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
“God Keeps a Song in my Heart”
Text: Exodus 15:2
“The LORD is my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation;
He is my God, and I will praise Him;
My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.”
“God Keeps a Song in My Heart,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning. How does He do this?
By reminding you and I of His Victories in our life experiences at the “Red Sea’s” and the “bitter Marah’s” of our Life.
Miriam led Israel in praise and worship in what the Bible calls “The Song of Moses.” This was a victory song for God’s Great Victory over Pharoah and his armies at the Red Sea.
When we remember victories in the past we can Sing Victories in the Present, because We Know By Experience that God Will Bring Victory in the Future - because He Is Unchangeable! Oooh Rah!
We need to pin a song on every “Red Sea”and “Marah” Victory; and sing it in every trial and affliction! Oooh Rah!
I say again, “Don’t Wait ‘til the Battle’s Over SHOUT NOW! ‘cause in the end you’re going to win!”
There’s a song to sing at the waters of the Red Sea and at the bitter waters of Marah.
Faith will sing the Victory Song BEFORE the Pathway and Coffin are made at the Red Sea - and BEFORE the waters of Marah are made sweet….
Faith and Trust in God’s Unchangeable Faithfulness in our Life will keep a song in our heart.
What God has done in the Past He will do in the Present and He will do in the Future.
Let’s sing that song of Faith and Trust in God:
“Because He Lives I can face tomorrow
Because He Lives all fear is gone.
Because I Know, yes I know
He holds my future
And Life is worth the living, just
Because He Lives.”
Take a moment today and remember and rehearse some victories God won for you in the past and start singing again! Do this regularly and God will Keep a Song in Your Heart! Oooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
Jesus and Billy
