Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
“God Reminds Us of His Promises”
Text: Genesis 18:10
“And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.”
(Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.)”
This wonderful Truth that “God Reminds us of His Promises,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
God reminds you and I of promises He has made in order to encourage us, strengthen us, and build our faith and endurance…
It’s been about 24 years since God promised Abraham a son and about a few weeks ago in Gen.17:21 God tells Abraham that by next year Sarah will deliver a baby boy, Isaac; the son of promise.
Now God Reminds Abraham of this Promise again.
Like Abraham, you and I need to be reminded of God’s promises to us, again and again. That’s why we have His Word, the Bible with us to read, chew on, and apply to our life with Faith, Trust, and Obedience:
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”(Rom.10:17).
When our Prayers are based upon a Promise of God THEY WILL BE FULFILLED. (1John 5:14-15).
Some of these promises are fulfilled quickly, like our “asking” prayers. Some are fulfilled in weeks or months like our “seeking” prayers. Some are fulfilled in years and decades like our “knocking” prayers.
ALL Our “Promised -Based” Prayers Are Answered And Fulfilled In God’s Perfect Way and In God’s Perfect Time.
Jesus tells you and I today:
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”(Matt.7:7-8)
All these fulfilled “promise-based” prayers grow a foundation faith and Trust in our Commander and King Jesus Christ; and that’s how God Grows Great Faith in our life.
As you and I Pray The Promises of God we are planting the seeds of Great Faith.
You and I may forget a Promise from God but God NEVER Forgets His Promises; and He Will Remind You and I of His Promises every day as we meet with Him for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner! Ooooooh Rah!
