Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"God's Blessing Always Triumphs Over the Curse"
"On that day they read from the Book of Moses in the hearing of the people, and in it was found written that no Ammonite or Moabite should ever come into the assembly of God, because they had not met the children of Israel with bread and water, but hired Balaam against them to curse them. However, our God turned the curse into a blessing." (emphasis added)
Our Christmas morning Breakfast shows us the Joy of God's Blessing of Jesus Triumphing over the Curse of sin! It all started in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve's sin brought the Curse of sin into the world Gen.3:15); but God met this curse with a Promise! The Seed of the Woman - our King and Commander Jesus, the Savior of the world, would crush the head of the devil and be the Blessing of God that Triumphs over the Curse of sin. Oooh Rah!
Yes, in the fullness of time Jesus, our King and Hero, came to rescue us from sin's bondage and curse (Gal.4:3-7).
The fullness of the Godhead; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Col.2:9-10), were wrapped up in Him.
The Word Himself, the Promise of Gen.3:25 became flesh, like us, yet without sin (John 1:14).
This was the Blessing that Triumphed over the Curse of sin!
This is how our King fights His Battles: His Curse upon sin and lawlessness can be broken and destroyed by His Blessing of Forgiveness and Restoration - When we confess and repent of our sin.
This is also how we fight our battles; overcoming evil with good (Rom.12:21). The Blessing of God's Love working in us and through us, triumphs over the evil we walk among, and leads the sinner to repentance (Rom.2:4).
"Oh Mighty God, let the spirit of Christmas, the Hope in Christ, burn in our hearts all the days of our life -
And may the Wonder of Your Amazing Love grow every day in our hearts and through our life, to infect the lives we walk among every day." Oooh Rah!
