Good Morning Warrior!
Hallelujah! It’s The Lord’s Day!
Word for the Day:
(Exodus 2:23 -3:22)
“God’s Promise Comes With A Fight”
Text: Exodus 3:19, 20)
“But I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not even by a mighty hand.
So I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in its midst; and after that he will let you go.”
This Truth that God’s Promise Comes With a Fight,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
God’s Promise to Moses and Israel to deliver them from the bondage of slavery in Egypt, came with a Fight; the Fight of Faith.
Faith is turning away from “self-reliance” to “God-Reliance!” Believing and Trusting in God instead of myself.
God gave Moses and Israel the Promise of His Deliverance from Egypt, and then He told them:
“I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go without a mighty hand.” In other words God’s Promise Comes With a Fight.
There’s also a greater Promise that God gave to Moses at the burning bush: “I Will Certainly Go With You!”(v.12).
Now, this Fight becomes thrilling to you and I. Almighty God, Our Commander is In the Fight with you and I. The Fight of Faith is God’s Opportunity to Demonstrate His Awesome Wonders! Oooooh Rah!
That’s what God will do in Egypt, while His People rest safely in the land of Goshen. God tells Moses:
“So I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in its midst; and after that he will let you go.”
Hear me Warrior! When we turn from self-reliance to God-Reliance God Is With Us in the Fight of Faith. He leads you and I triumphantly “through the fight to the victory side of the Promise!”
Oh Hallelujah! Let’s sing that Battle Song now:
“With the high praises of God in my heart
And a two-edged sword in my hand,
I will march right on to the victory side
Right into Canaan land.
Singing let the oppressed go free
‘Let them go!’
Let the oppressed go free -
‘Let them go!’
There’s deliverance in Zion for you and me
Oh, let the oppressed go free!”
God’s Promises Come With a Fight, and Our Commander Jesus Christ God of Battles is With Us, to make us always to triumph In Him:
“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.”(2Corin.2:14).
You and I inherit All The Promises of God through the Fight of Faith In The Power of Our Commander Jesus Christ! Oooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
Jesus and Billy
