Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(Esther 5 & 6)
“God’s Time Is Always Perfect”
Text: Esther 6:4
“So the king said, “Who is in the court?” Now Haman had just entered the outer court of the king’s palace to suggest that the king hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him.”
The Truth that “God’s Time Is Always Perfect,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
Esther is a wonderful performance of God’s Perfect Time working in the affairs of mankind. God pulls back the curtain and shows us how “our delays,” are actually part of His Perfect Timing of all events.
God’s Awesome Wisdom is displayed in His Perfect Time. God really makes all things beautiful “in His time,”(Eccl.3:11).
Consider how God put it in Esther’s heart to delay her request for another day, so that the king would have a sleepless night -
Then the king wanted to have the Chronicles read to him, and a specific book was taken, and a specific page was chosen, that recorded Mordecai’s “unrewarding service” was read!
Then the king’s question of what should be done for Mordecai is considered.
It was God’s Perfect Time that placed Haman in the court:
It was no coincidence that Haman entered the king’s court at just that moment;
it was no coincidence that Haman came at that moment to ask for the execution of Mordecai;
it was no coincidence that king Ahasuerus wanted to honor Mordecai at just that moment.
It was God’s Perfect Time, when He put all the pieces together.
Listen up Warrior! We see isolated events that don’t make sense - but God sees a perfectly crafted plan of good works (Eph.2:10) for us to walk in. God’s Perfect Time is at work when we see our good work for God “unrewarded” by people we have served. God has Chronicles also, they are called a Book of Remembrance, (Malachi 3:16), where all our conversations and meditations upon God are recorded. The Lord hears these conversations and thoughts and will reward them all in His Perfect Time and His Perfect Way. Paul declares this Truth this way:
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”(Rom.8:28).
Our Faith and Trust is in God’s Perfect Time to put all things together for us. Like King David said:
“But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD;
I say, “You are my God.”
My times are in Your hand;
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies,
And from those who persecute me.” (Psa.31:14-15).
God’s Time Is Always Perfect! Oooh Rah!
