Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(2 Chronicles 33)
“Grace Abounds More than wickedness”
Text: 2 Chronicles 33:12-13
“Now when he was in affliction, he implored the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,
and prayed to Him; and He received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God.”
This Saving Principle that “Grace Abounds More than wickedness,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
As Manasseh’s wickedness was greater than any king before him - so God’s Grace and Mercy was far greater that Manasseh’s wickedness!
Oh what great hope this brings to the worst sinner, who thinks God could never forgive them.
Oh let that sinner read Manasseh’s testimony, and find hope for their salvation; and turn from their wicked way immediately!
Ezekiel writes of a repentant sinner, “…none of his sins which he has committed will be remembered against him” (Ezek.33:14-16)
This is also a testimony of the promise for godly parents who raise their children in the ways of God, as Manasseh’s father Hezekiah did:
“Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Prov.22:6).
Hezekiah raised Manasseh in the ways of God and though Manasseh rebelled and taught rebellion to Judah - in his old age he remembered his father’s example and lessons and repented!
Be encouraged Warrior as a parent, and keep sowing seeds of righteousness into your children - water them with the prayer of faith - and God will bring a holy harvest of a saved soul forever! Oooooh Rah!
Paul spoke hope to the worst of sinners, saying:
“Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,”(Rom.5:20).
I remember Corrie TenBoom saying to us in a chapel service:
“There is no pit so deep,
that His Love is not deeper still!”
Aaaaah Yes, the Grace and Mercy of God is Greater than all the sins of the world; that’s why it is called “All Sufficient Grace!”
Oh let’s sing that precious song again:
“What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus”
Hear this eternal Truth that:
“Grace Abounds More than wickedness!”
Yet, let the sinner not hesitate, but know that God’s Grace and Mercy has “an expiration date,” our death on this earth:
“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,”(Heb.9:27)
God’s Grace and Mercy teaches you and I to Love God and hate sin!
Grace and Mercy teaches us to rely and depend upon Holy Spirit working in us, empowering us to live a godly life, and conquer sin (Phil.2:12-13).
No one knows when death will come, but the Faithful Warrior is Always prepared for that “appointment” by living a godly life in the Love and Power of the Holy Spirit. We can do this because God’s Grace and Mercy Abounds More than wickedness. Oooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
Jesus and Billy
