Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(1Samuel 9:15 - 10:27)
“Living in the Wow of His Presence”
Text: 1Samuel 9:21
“And Saul answered and said, “Am I not a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel, and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? Why then do you speak like this to me?”
“Living in the Wow of His Presence,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning. Stepping into Saul’s life at this time I was captured by the Wow of God’s Presence! Saul was living in the Wow of His Presence and didn’t even know it! When told about being chosen by God to be king he quickly began to list his limitations; I’m from the smallest tribe and the smallest family - the least of these my brethren.
This is what the Presence of God does, it shows us our “limitations” and it also shows us the Wow of His Love, Grace, and Mercy. The Wow of God’s Presence Shows us our Need and His Overwhelming Satisfaction of our need. Wow, you chose me, even me the least of all men to be king over Your People - “why then do you speak like this to me?” Can you feel this meek and humble heart?
Listen up Warrior! The Warrior who Lives in the Wow of their Commander’s Presence Practices Justice, Loves Mercy, and Walks Humbly with their Commander and King, and Enjoys Life!
“He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the LORD require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8).
Whether we are looking for missing donkeys, taking care of the equipment, hiding in obscurity, or ruling a nation; each of us have a laundry list of limitations, and God has All Sufficient Love, Grace and Mercy that dissolves that list! We are Always Living in the Wow of His Presence, we just don’t realize it sometimes....
Let’s re-discover the Wow of His Presence every day as we eat Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner with our Commander Jesus. Don’t allow this to become a religious ritual, but enjoy and bathe yourself in the Wow of His Presence, Once Again! Oooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
