Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
“Love is a Verb”
Text: 2 Chron.31:20-21
“Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and true before the LORD his God.
And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.”
“Love is a Verb,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning. In grammar, a verb is an action word; something that you do that is seen by others.
His Passionate Love for God was the force behind everything that King Hezekiah did throughout all Judah; “Doing what was good, and right, and true before the Lord.” And he did this “with all his heart!” His Love for God changed a nation, because it was Demonstrated!
This is the Model that Jesus gave to us as Son of Man when he walked this earth. Love was the force behind everything He said and did. He did everything “with all His heart!”
Great Love Produces Great Action!
His meat and food was to “Do the Will of God and Finish His work,”(John 4:34); because of His Great Love.
He gave His life away as a ransom to rescue you and I from sin’s bondage and death (Matt.20:28); because of His Great Love.
He made His soul an offering for sin - and
He poured out His soul unto death (Isa.53:10,12); because of His Great Love.
Listen up Warrior! This is the hour to demonstrate our Love for our Commander and King by how we Live.
Our great love for God is the force behind our passion to imitate Him. He is our God and Our Hero! Oooooh Rah!
We want to Love like Him and Serve like Him because of our great love for Him.
He shows us how to do this in His Word.
God’s Word commands us that whatever we do in word or deed we must do heartily, eagerly, as if we are saying the word and doing the deed directly to God Himself! (Col.3:17,23-24).
Treating others this way will make our Light of Love shine brightly and our Salt of Love will flavor everything we Do and Say! Love is what we Do not just what we say; because Love is a Verb! Ooooh Rah.
