Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"Love, That Leads To Repentance"
"Then the men who were designated by name rose up and took the captives, and from the spoil they clothed all who were naked among them, dressed them and gave them sandals, gave them food and drink, and anointed them; and they let all the feeble ones ride on donkeys. So they brought them to their brethren at Jericho, the city of palm trees. Then they returned to Samaria."
Our Thanksgiving Breakfast this morning shows us the Amazing Love of our Commander and King. This Love is displayed in the stinging rebuke of Israel for fighting their brethren Judah with rage and making slaves of them. The Prophet reminded them of God's Love for them and this led them to Repentance.
This same Amazing Love worked patiently in the life of King Ahaz In Judah; bringing Ahaz and Judah into great distress to humble them - yet Ahaz chose to "encourage moral decline in Judah," and become "increasingly unfaithful to God" (v.19,22)
Our Commander's Amazing Love is designed not to destroy us, but to lead us to Repentance (Rom.2:4), so He can Forgive us and continue molding us more into His image and likeness. (2Corin.3:18)
"He is longsuffering not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance" 2Pet.3:9)
At the end of the day God honors our choice: to take the Pathway of Love That Leads To Repentance and Forgiveness - or to take the pathway of stubborn lawlessness that leads to Apostasy and eternal separation from God.
We choose Heaven or hell as our eternal destination.(Rom.2:4-11).
The Warrior chooses the Pathway of Supreme Love for their Commander and King. Our Supreme Love for Him and His Supreme Love for us, is the Road we walk TOGETHER!
Oh Hallelujah! Aren't you Grateful for Your Commander's Amazing Love?
"Yes Lord, Thank You for Your Amazing Love That Leads me to Repentance (Rom.2:4) - and also works in me and empowers me to walk in Your image and likeness (Phil.2:12-13) (2Corin.3:18).
Let me remind you of your Mission, my fellow Warrior:
"Love God Supremely and your fellow man Equally;" and people will imitate you as you imitate your Commander and King! (1Corin.11:1)
