Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(Deut. 7:11 - 8:20)
“Love, the Greatest Blessing”
“Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.
And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you.”
“Love, the Greatest Blessing;” is on the menu for Breakfast this morning. All Blessing and Multiplication flows from Love.
God commands us to “Listen to, Keep, and Do His Commandments and He Will Love, Bless, and Multiply our life in fruitfulness. It All Begins with Love, the Greatest Blessing!
We Love God only because He First loved us (1John 4:10, 19) and taught us how to love Him the way He Loves us.
When we abide in Him He abides in us, like a branch in a tree; and His Love flows in us and through us, producing fruit for others to eat (John 15:1-8).
How does God show His Love for us?
God’s Love for us brought Him into the world to Rescue us from the hopelessness of sin, (John 3:16). From the beginning He taught us and models for us, how to Love; “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”(John 15:13). The world’s favorite verb is “get;” Love’s favorite verb is “give.”
From the “Love Chapter” of the Bible (1Corin.13), we see that The Greatest Gift we can receive from God is Love (1Corn.13:13)
Our Commander’s Love is “... longsuffering not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance,” (2 Pet.3:9). He wants us to Obey Him so He can Bless Us; with “... all things pertaining to life and godliness..” (2Pet.1:2-4). The Fruit and evidence of the Holy Spirit begins with Love; Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Goodness, Kindness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control - all these “fruits” follows the “Fruit,” of Love.(Gal.5:22-23).
Listen up Warrior! This Greatest Blessing of God’s Love is not just to hold on to, it was given to you to share with others. Remember, the favorite verb for Love is “Give.” Oooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
