Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(Exodus 22:1 - 23:9)
“Love the Truth and hate the lie”
Text: Exodus 23:1-2
“You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after many to pervert justice.”
“Love the Truth and hate the lie,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning. In the 9th Commandment God says: “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.”(Exod.20:16).
When you love the Truth you won’t “bear false witness against your neighbor;” because you hate the lie of a false report.
Whether you’re the subject or the hearer of a negative report, simply ask “the Reporter” for biblical proof of two or more witnesses to confirm the report. If they can’t, then consider it a false report and admonish “the Reporter.”
Jesus endured “false reports,” all His life on earth as Son of Man.
How did He respond? He told the Truth, and Lived the Truth all the time!
When we Speak the Truth in Love and Live the Truth in Conduct before God; we have a clear conscience; and we rest standfast in our position with God!
Remember this Warrior: Truth will always expose the lie of a false report.
The Faithful Warrior will face false reports and should respond like their Commander Jesus responded, we need to Speak the Truth in Love and Live the Truth in Conduct before God with a good conscience.
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;
having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.
For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.”(1Pet.3:15-17).
Our Primary Mission as God’s Warrior is “To love God Supremely and our fellow man equally as God loves us!” When you and I do this we will Love the Truth and hate the lie; and not bear false witness against our neighbor. Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
Jesus and Billy
