Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(Deuteronomy 10:12 - 11:32)
“Love Will Make A Way”
Text: Deuteronomy 10:12-13
“And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the LORD and His statutes which I command you today for your good?”
Oh Hallelujah! “Love Will Make a Way,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
Moses continues to remind Israel of what all God has done for them in spite of their rebellion. God’s Love made a Way for Israel through the wilderness to the promised land - and God’s Love makes a way for you and I through our wilderness on this earth too! The challenge to Israel and us is to connect with God’s Love and Stay Connected.
When we meet God’s Love at the Cross and see what He’s done for us we’re overwhelmed by His Love, and His Love works it’s way into our heart and we begin to Love Him the way He loves us; completely! God’s Love brings Relationship with Him and He becomes our First and Only True Love. It’s like a branch growing from a Vine with the sap of God’s Love flowing through it; obedience and surrender is the natural result of connection to the Vine and this connection brings fruitfulness from this Vine.
This is what God was offering Israel, connect with My Love and walk with Me in relationship and obedience, and fruitfulness and blessing will flow from our relationship.
Love Will Make A Way for this.
“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
We love Him because He first loved us.”(1John 4:17-19).
Once we “make” the Connection we need to “keep” the Connection. The Church at Ephesus lost this connection by replacing their first love with “works for God;” showing us that obedience to God without love is worthless. (Rev.2:4-5)
We keep our connection by filling our heart, our mouth, and our life with His Word and declaring to others the wonderful works of God, that He’s done and is still doing in our life!
Oh Wow! Can you see how God’s Love Makes a Way through our wilderness today and everyday?
He woke me up this morning with this simple children’s song:
“God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me.
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way…..”
He’s with you Warrior, right now; making a way for you where there seems to be no way, with His Love growing in you and through you, spilling out of you all over the lives of those you walk among. Your Commander makes a way for you so you can show others the Way of His Love…. Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
Jesus and Billy
