Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"My Heart, a Home For God"
"Then everyone came whose heart was stirred, and everyone whose spirit was willing, and they brought the LORD’s offering for the work of the tabernacle of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments."
The "Process" of Building a Home for God is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
The Tabernacle of God was built as a "Home For God's Presence To Dwell In, as a 'Tabernacle of Meeting.'
It required an offering from the people, given from a heart that was stirred with a passion to Give - and from a spirit that was eager to Serve however they could.
This picture of Building a Home for God shows God and the People working together in Love to 'build a Tabernacle of Meeting," a Home for God, where they could meet together, all the time.
It's been said that "Home is Where the Heart is." Our heart is the place where we Build a Home For God. Like any building project it's a Process.
Israel brought their offerings from what God has given to them, and God gave them 'wisdom' to use the materials and abilities He had given them, to build this tabernacle of meeting.
So we also, work together with God in Love. We bring our life as a living sacrifice (Rom.12:1) and the materials and abilities that He has given us, and with Love we Give them for the Service of this Home for God in our heart. Whatever we do in word or deed we do passionately because we're doing it to the Lord Himself. (Col.3:17,23). We're building a Home for God.
This is an 'active' process. God is adding materials and abilities for this 'Home.' Our spiritual battles bring victories as our Commander makes us always triumph over our enemies of Doubt, Fear, and Unbelief (2Corin.2:14). Yes, these battles and victories are the beautiful pictures we hang on the walls of God's Home in pure Gold Frames of Faith! God's Home is decorated with the furniture and pictures of the spoils of war - victories won, enemies conquered, by the empowerment of God. The pictures of 'answered prayers,' lives of people our Commander has touched and changed through our abilities and gifts that He has deposited into of life - they're pictures too, hanging on the wall, set in Pure Gold Frames of Faith!
Yes, the trials of our Faith are more precious than gold (1Pet.1:7); they hang on the walls of our Heart, the Home of God. Major Battles are the 'furniture,' the couches we rest upon, in great confidence, reminding us as we remember and rehearse the great life and death battles God won for us - proclaiming to Him, "Yes, My Commander! You ARE the Same yesterday, today, and forever!" Oooooh Rah!
Listen up Warrior! There are more 'pictures' to hang on the walls of the Home you are building for God in your heart! And the 'corona virus' will be one of them! Oooh Rah!
It takes a lifetime to build a Home for God in our heart, so don't be in a hurry. Let His footsteps be your pathway (Psa.85:13) - and enjoy decorating God's Home in your Heart with the pictures of Battles and Victories you have passed through with Your Commander! Oooh Rah!
