Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
“From the Prison to the Palace”
Text: Genesis 41:14
“Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; and he shaved, changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh.”
“From the Prison to the Palace,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
This morning we see how suddenly God changed Joseph’s ‘place of service,’ from the Prison to the Palace of Pharaoh! He went from serving the Captain of the Guard of the prison to serving Pharaoh and the nation of Egypt as second only to Pharoah! Wow! What a dramatic moment this must have been for Joseph!
He had served God in the pit abandoned by his brothers, in slavery to Potiphar, and to the Captain of the Guard, and other prisoners - and now he would serve God in the Palace as second only to Pharaoh himself!
This Fantastic Drama should be very familiar to you and I as Warriors of the Kingdom of God. It’s a picture of our Salvation! God brought you and I out of the spiritual dungeon of sin’s bondage, cleaned us up, clothed us with the new clothes of the righteousness of Jesus Christ, and brought you and I to Himself as His son and daughter! Oh Hallelujah! He brought you and I in to His banqueting house and His banner over us is Love! (Song of Solomon 2:4).
You and I went immediately from the Prison to the Palace! And that’s where we are today!
“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,” (Eph.2:4-6).
As Warriors of God we serve Almighty God, as His sons and daughters, ambassadors of heaven (2Corin.5:20), here on earth temporarily, and in heaven forever! Ooooh Rah!
In places of spiritual famine or spiritual plenty, we serve our King Jesus Christ, and the people of this world. You and I are empowered with His Grace and Mercy to Deliver His Message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our Mission is His Message: To Know God and To Make Him Known by Others.
You and I have been Brought up From the Prison To Palace of Almighty God for such a time as this! Stay The Course Warrior! Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
