Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(2 Kings 25)
Text: 2 Kings 25:5
“But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king, and they overtook him in the plains of Jericho. All his army was scattered from him.”
“Never Alone,” is on our menu this morning for Breakfast. For the unbeliever, it is terrifying to be alone before your enemies; like Zedekiah was. “All his army”, that he trusted and depended upon, “was scattered from him.” He was Alone facing the Chaldean Army and their judgement.
I was thinking about my life before I met Jesus. I was always Alone, even when I was with groups of people; I still felt alone in a “secret invisible prison cell.” Nobody else could see it but I lived in it every day. I was Alone with my Conscience!
Now, with my Commander and King Jesus Christ, I am Never Alone! The Bible tells us:
“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
So we may boldly say:
“The LORD is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” (Heb.13:5-6).
Oh what great confidence and comfort this is to the Warrior! In whatever battlefield of life we are passing through, We Are Never Alone! Our Commander and Shepherd, The Good Shepherd Goes Before Us, and Is All Around Us with Hs Presence! Ooooh Rah!
Whatever Touches Our Life Must Touch Him First! Our Commander God of Battles Leads Us and Causes Us ALWAYS TO TRIUMPH:
“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” (2Corin.2:14).
Wow, what a contrast this is with king Zedekiah’s situation, and the unbeliever’s “secret invisible prison!”
The Warrior Is Never Alone!
Our Commander and King Walks with us as We Walk with Him through the battlefields of life. Hear His whisper Warrior:
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” (Deut.31:6).
Warrior at your side,
