Good Morning Warrior!
Hallelujah, It’s The Lord’s Day Palm Sunday!
(Leviticus 4:27 - 5:18)
“Our King Is Coming!”
Text: Leviticus 5:7
“If he is not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring to the LORD, for his trespass which he has committed, two turtledoves or two young pigeons: one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering.”
“Our King Is Coming,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning. The Law of Moses made room for even the poorest person to bring a sin offering and a burnt offering of two turtle doves. Our King, becoming like us in All ways, became poor, identifying with the poor with His life among us as Son of Man:
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,
but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” (Phil.2:5-8)
Our King Is Coming this Palm Sunday not as a earthly celebrity, but as a humble Servant in the Name of the LORD:
“Hosanna, Blessed is He Who Comes in the Name of the Lord.” (Matt.21:9).
Our King, our sin offering and burnt offering is coming “once again” into our heart this morning “on the foal of a donkey,” as Our Shepherd...
““Tell the daughter of Zion,
‘Behold, your King is coming to you,
Lowly, and sitting on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ” (Matt.21:5).
Our King is Coming for Breakfast with you and I once again this morning, and for Lunch this afternoon, and for Dinner this evening. Oh Hallelujah, Our King Is Coming! Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
