Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"Preparing for War in Times of Peace"
"Therefore he said to Judah, “Let us build these cities and make walls around them, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us, because we have sought the Lord our God; we have sought Him, and He has given us rest on every side.” So they built and prospered."
This morning we're reminded that Seeking God in times of Peace brings Boldness with God in times of War!
As we Trust God in the battle He will give us Victory and Rest.
Resting is not a time to be idle, but a time to Prepare for War.
As Warriors we must always be familiar with the Sword and the Trowel - the Sword of God's Word to Fight the battles of righteousness; and the Trowel, to Build and Fortify the House of God in our heart; "studying to show our self approved unto God, rightly dividing the Word of Truth."(2Tim.2:15)
In our life there will always be seasons of rest and seasons of combat. We prepare and fortify our heart in times of rest so we can fight with boldness when we are confronted with an army of 1 million Ethiopians.
Asa was a good Warrior King who built and fortified the cities of Judah so they were ready to be tested in combat with the Ethiopians.
A Good Warrior is Prepared and Ready to Fight for Righteousness at all times. Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
