Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"Pride Is Always At The Door."
"But when he was strong his heart was lifted up, to his destruction, for he transgressed against the Lord his God by entering the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense."
Our Breakfast this morning reminds us that The Pride of life, like a roaring lion (1Pet.5:8), is Always outside the door of our heart, waiting to devour us with the lie that we are exempt from God's Rule.
This was Uzziah's downfall. As long as he was seeking God he prospered; but Pride was waiting outside and whispering in his ear, "oooh, look at all YOU have done, in YOUR strength, there is no one like YOU!"
When Uzziah begins to listen, he begins to agree, and then he opens the door. Pride captures his heart, telling him that he is exempt from God's Rule. He enters the temple to burn incense, violating God's Rule. When the priests correct him he refuses to repent; and God Judges him with leprosy.
Listen up Warrior! Take a lesson from King Uzziah, and post your Guard of Praise and Worship at the door of your heart!
Praise and Worship reminds us who we are and Who God is!
In everything that happens in our life we praise and worship our Commander Jesus (1Thess.5:18).
As God prospers us we are humbled in awe and wonder of His Power and Favor - Praising and Worshipping Him.
As we endure hardship we are humbled in the wonder that our Commander and King is with us, feeling us, strengthening us with His Love and Presence - so we Praise and Worship Him for Who He Is!
Praise and Worship Guard our heart and drive Pride away from our door.
The more we are blessed - the more we are humbled; because we know that our Commander and King is the Source of every good and perfect thing (James 1:17).
Every time we share our testimony of who we were, how we were saved, and what God is doing in our life Today - we are reminded of who we are, and Who He Is!
Praise and Worship Silence the roar of Pride - every time!
