Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"Remembering our Blessings"
"But remember me when it is well with you, and please show kindness to me; make mention of me to Pharaoh, and get me out of this house."
Sitting with Jesus, Joseph, and Pharoah's butler and baker this morning; I was reminded of an old song, some people called The Blessing Song. The chorus went like this:
"Count your blessings name them one by one;
Count your blessings see what God has done." (Repeat again; it helps you remember.)
We remember what we rehearse; and we rehearse what we remember.....
It's so easy to forget our blessings - after we are enjoying pleasant times; like the butler did. He forgot God's blessing of interpreting his dream through Joseph. (Gen.40:23).
Listen up Warrior! We too can forget the many blessings we have enjoyed from our Commander, unless we rehearse them within ourself - and with others.
There's no better medicine for discouragement in the 'prison of impossibility," than to "count our blessings, name them one by one - count our blessings see what God has done!" Soon, our Mourning will turn into Dancing (Psa.30:11) as we remember our Greatest Blessing - Our Commander's Presence With Us! Oooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
