Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
“Separation from sin”
Text: Numbers 5:3
“You shall put out both male and female; you shall put them outside the camp, that they may not defile their camps in the midst of which I dwell.”
God’s Command to Separate from sin,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
Uncleanness is a reminder to us of the destructive nature of sin (Rom.6:23).
Uncleanness is contagious! It cannot be tolerated, even for a moment!
God’s primary purpose of separating unclean persons from the camp was because He dwelled in the camp, and therefore uncleanness will be destroyed “because He is Holy.” These unclean persons were still “near the camp,” they just were not “in” the camp; like a spiritual hospital until they were cleansed from their uncleanness.
The other reason for separation from the camp was to prevent the spreading of the uncleanness of the unclean people throughout the camp.
The idea here is that uncleanness is “treatable,” it can be cured; but it must not be allowed to “dwell in the camp of the righteous,” because our Holy and Perfect God dwells there!
In the Warrior’s life today this same principle still applies.
The “old nature” of sin must die and be put away from the camp of our heart; so our “new nature” of righteousness in Jesus Christ can be kept Clean and Pure - because God Dwells in our Camp! He is Holy so you and I must be holy also! Ooooh Rah!
Israel had “a hospital,” but you and I have the Sword of the Word of God to deal with sin!
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1John 1:9).
Our Rules of Engagement with our enemy of sin is to destroy upon contact with confession and repentance with faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross! Ooooh Rah!
The Warrior has a zero tolerance for sin in their life because it separates us from our Supreme Love, Jesus! It also contaminates every relationship we have with others!
That is why It Must Die!
The Warrior must live a life of Separation from sin to have intimate fellowship with their Holy Commander and King Jesus Christ!
"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin."(1John 1:7).
Our Helper Holy Spirit will Inspire and Empower you and I to live this way because We love Jesus Christ Himself MORE than anyone or anything else in this world! Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
Jesus and Billy
