Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
“Something Good out of Something Bad”
Text: Exodus 14:27-28
“And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. So the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained.”
This thrilling Truth that God Makes “Something Good out of Something Bad,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
Pharoah and his entire army have cornered Israel at the Red Sea, intending to recapture them as slaves! This is a Bad Thing; until Moses raises the Rod of God toward the Red Sea and God splits the Red Sea with two parallel walls of frozen ice water over one hundred feet tall!
Oh Hallelujah! God, the WayMaker made a Pathway through the Sea for Israel - and a Coffin for Pharoah and his entire army! Oooooh Rah!
Hear this Warrior! Our Commander and King Makes Something Good out of Something Bad, All The Time.
I look at my miserable life before I met Jesus Christ, and it was really bad, messy, and broken. When I confessed and repented of my sin God received my mess, my Bad; and began to make this messed up life a Beautiful Masterpiece of His Grace, Love, and Mercy.
He’s doing that for you also, Warrior!
Oh this makes me want to Sing:
“Something beautiful, something good
All my confusion He understood.
All I had to offer Him was brokenness and strife,
But He made something beautiful of my life….”
Looking at Israel at the Red Sea, and our life with Jesus Christ; how can we not shout AMEN to this Declaration of Faith:
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”(Rom.8:28).
Oh Hallelujah! Thank You Holy Spirit for making Something Good out of Something Bad! Oooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
Jesus and Billy
