Good Morning Warrior!
It’s the Lord’s Day, Hallelujah!
Word for the Day:
“The Bounds We Cannot Pass”
Text: Genesis 23:1
“Sarah lived one hundred and twenty-seven years; these were the years of the life of Sarah.”
“The Bounds We Cannot Pass,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
The Warrior Job tells us these words:
“Since his days are determined,
The number of his months is with You;
You have appointed his limits, so that he cannot pass.” (Job 14:5).
God has appointed our Bounds That We Cannot Pass.
Sarah’s Bounds were 127 years. Since our “Bounds” are unknown to us, how then should we live?
We can listen in to Moses’ Prayer in Psalm 90:12 where he asks God: “So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
Sarah and Abraham “gained a heart of wisdom,” by following God faithfully all the way to The Bounds They could not pass on earth.
Sarah is the only woman in the Bible whose age at death is recorded, showing how significant she was. Both in the old and the New Testament she is presented as a model for women; Isaiah 51:1-2; and 1Peter 3:3-6.
Concerning these “bounds,”
Billy Graham once said:
“I am convinced that when a man is prepared to die, he is also prepared to live.”
Listen up Warrior. Please don’t take your life, your family, and relationships with others for granted. Each relationship is priceless and full of opportunities to love and serve. This is how we “number our days,” “walk circumspectly,”and “redeem the time,” (Eph.5:15-16).
We’re all headed toward the Bounds We Cannot Pass; and may Holy Spirit help each of us to number our days so that we can gain a heart of wisdom. Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
