Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"The Envy Virus"
"Now when Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister, and said to Jacob, “Give me children, or else I die!”
Breakfast this morning warns us of the envy virus that destroys relationships.
I was reminded of Samuel's mother Hannah, in (1Sam.1:2); who "sat where Rachel sat." Hannah was loved deeply by her husband Elkanah but she had no children. Elkanah's other wife Peninnah had children. Hannah asked God for children, not Elkanah. She poured out her soul to God, not Elkanah.
Here is our lesson Warrior! We find contentment in what we have: the Perfect Love of our Commander. He shares ALL HE HAS with us as "joint heirs of Christ..."(Rom.8:12-14).
We Already have "all things pertaining to life and godliness, and are partakers of His divine nature!"(1Pet.1:1-4).
In other words, we don't need what others have because we Already have everything and more than we could ever need! Ooooh Rah! The envy virus meets a stone wall when it attacks a Warrior! Like the great Warrior Paul, "we have learned in whatever state We are in, to be content ...(Phil.4:11-13). Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
