Good Morning Warrior!
Hallelujah! It’s the Lord’s Day!
Word for the Day:
“The Furniture of our Heart”
Text: Exodus 37:1
“Then Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood; two and a half cubits was its length, a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height.”
“The Furniture of our Heart,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
Our heart is God’s Tabernacle, the spiritual dwelling place of God. Like any normal house it has furniture.
The Furniture of our heart represents Jesus Christ Himself! It begins with the Ark of the Covenant, the Table of Showbread, the Lamp stand, and the Altar of Incense.
The Ark of the Covenant is His Promise of His Presence, Power, and. Protection Forever:
“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Heb.13:5)
And the Mercy Seat is His Promise to forgive our sin when we confess and repent of it:
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”(1John 1:9).
Next, the Table of Showbread is Jesus as the Living Bread that comes down from Heaven (John 6:32-35). The Living Bread is the Word of God that we eat every day for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner with Jesus. Like the Showbread, the Living Bread is fresh and new every day; hot out of Heaven’s oven!
Next, the Lamp stand is Jesus the Light of the World, the true Light:
“That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.”(John 1:9).
Jesus is our Moral Compass that lights the pathway of righteousness; showing us right and wrong, as a Lamp to our feet and a Light to our path:
“Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.”(Psa.119:105).
Next, the Altar of Incense is Jesus Christ our High Priest Who lives forever making intercessions for you and I:
“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”(Heb.7:25). Our Commander and King Never Stops Praying For You and I, His Warriors! Ooooh Rah!
And now we see the Anointing Oil as Jesus The Anointed One, Prophet, Priest, and King.
The Name “Christ” is literally translated as The Anointed One. When Jesus asked His disciples “Who do you say that I am?”
“Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”(Matt.16:16).
Oh Hallelujah! This is the spiritual Furniture that is in our Heart right now Warrior! It’s all been purchased and paid for with the blood of Jesus Christ. Remember this Warrior. We walk among this “furniture” every day as we walk with Jesus. Ooooh Rah!
