Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(1 Chron. 2)
“The Hidden Seed of Promise”
Text: 1 Chron. 2:13-15
“Jesse begot Eliab his firstborn, Abinadab the second, Shimea the third,
Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
Ozem the sixth, and David the seventh.”
“The Hidden Seed of Promise,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
In reading these genealogies, hidden among them is The Seed of Promise, our Commander and King Jesus Christ. This Hidden Seed was first announced in the Garden of Eden: “And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.” (Gen.3:15).
This Seed of Promise is traveling through these genealogies under the watchful eye of Almighty God, through Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah and through David; exactly the way God said it would. Matthews records this:
“The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham:”(Matt.1:1).
This links “the human lineage,” of Jesus Christ as a “Son of Abraham,” that will Bless all the families of the earth.(Gen.12:3).
And also, as “Son of David,” Who is promised an eternal kingdom. (2Sam.7:12).
This Seed of Promise was revealed in the Life, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ; and the crushing of the devil demonstrated at the Cross! The Hidden Seed of Promise is hidden no longer, and the Promise of the devil’s destruction was fulfilled at the Cross! Ooooh Rah!
Listen up Warrior! We are the Evidence of The Seed of Promise Living In Us. Our Life is to be His Living Letter of Hope, Known and Read by all people, His Light shining attracting the attention of others, and His Salt of Love flavoring every relationship.
This Seed of Promise is no longer hidden - He Is Being Displayed for All To See this mystery that has been hidden from ages and generations:
“the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.(Col.1:26-27).
