Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"The Hope in the Rainbow"
"I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth."
Breakfast this morning shows us the true meaning and purpose of a rainbow - Hope, from God's Perpetual Covenant with His Creation. For every seed that is sown there will be a harvest. Every night will end with the dawning of a new day. And the weather of cold and heat, and the seasons of climate will bleed into each other. The moon and the sun will continue their circuit like God's Bow in the sky.
Did you know that the colors in the rainbow are caused by the reflection of the sun's rays on the drops of rain in the cloud? The darker the clouds are, the brighter the colors become.
I thought about the beauty of God's presence in the darkest times of my life - when we wept together. Stars really do shine brightest in the darkest night!
God's Rainbow in the cloud is a reminder for us that the rain will not be forever; it will end in the dawning of a new and fresh day.
In the Warrior's Journey with their Commander, we'll face many battles of Faith. Some will be brief but others will seem like the rain of battle will never stop. We've prayed soooo long, asking, seeking, and knocking prayer; and we get tired. God reminds us today of all the past "rainbows," He's given us. Our Commander's "Son Light" reflected upon our tears of Faith and produced a Rainbow of Hope at the dawn of a spiritual breakthrough in our life; over and over again. As we consider this, we'll know in our heart that there's another rainbow just ahead, waiting for us to arrive. Yes, "....weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning," (Psa.30:5).
Be encouraged my fellow Warrior. There will always be Rainbows waiting for you, just ahead; as you follow your Commander and King.
You have a Perpetual Covenant with your Commander. He will lead you through the seasons and climates of life, to make you a tree of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. (Isa.61:3)
Warrior at your side,
