Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"The House Where Jesus Lives"
"And you shall raise up the tabernacle according to its pattern which you were shown on the mountain."
The House Where Jesus Lives is on the menu for Breakfast this morning. Yesterday we saw the "pattern" and this morning we see the "structure."
Our King and Commander Almighty God comes down to live in a "tent" to be mobile, and move among Israel at all times as they traveled through the wilderness. He led them as a pillar of fire by night and a pillar of cloud by day - and He lived among them in a tent, the Tabernacle of God.
With you and I He makes US "His Tent", so He can live in and move in us everywhere we go. Paul talks about this in (2Corin.5:4).
I also considered how the very costly materials were inside and unseen by outsiders - and they were covered by common things of ram and badger skins (Exod.26:14). This also is a type of our "tent" where Jesus lives. The "precious treasure" we hold in us is "very costly" but unseen by the world. Because they see only the covering of a common clay pot, a person like you and I. The precious and costly treasure is not valued because it is unseen.
We invite outsiders into the "tent" of our life by sharing our personal testimony with them. Our "badger skins" and "ram skins," are "skins," meaning the person we were had to die so that old person's skin could hold this treasure of Jesus in it. (2Corin.4:7). Yes, The House Where Jesus Lives is You - and Together We Are His Church; The House Where Jesus Lives!
