Good Morning Warrior!
IT’s PALM SUNDAY! Ooh Rah!
Word for the Day:
(Lev.12:1 - 13:23)
“The Leprosy of sin”
Text: Lev. 13:2
“When a man has on the skin of his body a swelling, a scab, or a bright spot, and it becomes on the skin of his body like a leprous sore, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons the priests.”
The Leprosy of sin is on our menu for Breakfast this morning. Leprosy, is a figure of sin. It is a slow moving infectious bacteria that attacks the skin of the body and the nervous system, making the person numb to feeling pain. It can be cured if treated immediately. If not treated immediately it will last a lifetime leading to death.
This is the danger of unrepented sin in our life. If sin is not treated immediately with Confession and Repentance, and Forgiveness with the Blood of Jesus - it will keep growing and spreading throughout our body, our mind, our spirit and everything we touch. Sin is highly infectious and deadly!
It cannot hidden ‘under the rug,’ it is seen by our High Priest and Commander Jesus. It has signs and symptoms like Leprosy, - envy, bitterness, greed, hatred, and indifference to righteousness (Gal.5:19-21). It disfigures our soul, spreading through the entire soul, mind, and body; numbing it so that it no longer feels the conviction of Holy Spirit.
When you don’t feel the conviction of Holy Spirit you won’t repent. When you don’t repent it will keep growing and become the death of your soul.
Listen up Warrior! See the wonderful blessing of Repentance, Warrior? The sting of our Helper, Holy Spirit. He is vigilant in teaching, leading, and guiding us in the ways of our Commander and King.(John 14:16; 16:8-15).
Oh God help us see the Precious Blessing of Sincere Repentance that brings the immediate Cure from the Leprosy of sin.
Let us Practice a Lifestyle of Repentance by Immediate Obedience to Holy Spirit’s Conviction of sin in our life. Oh “Search my heart oh God, try me and know my ways; and see if there is any wicked way in me. And lead me in the way everlasting” (Psa.139:23-24).
The Warrior Practices a Zero Tolerance for sin - by a Lifestyle of immediate godly Repentance! Ooooh Rah!
