Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
“The Misery of a Hardened Heart”
Text: Exodus 8:32
“But Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also; neither would he let the people go.”
“The Misery of a Hardened Heart,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
After plagues of bloody water, frogs everywhere, lice biting everyone, and flies everywhere; Except in Goshen; Pharaoh’s false repentance continues. This is the Misery of a Hardened Heart. With each false repentance another layer of hardening is formed on the heart, further hardening the heart until there is no remedy!
Pharaoh’s hard heart didn’t just affect him, it affected an entire nation!
We can take a lesson from Pharaoh this morning on “what Not to do,” when God convicts us of sin.
The Warrior is quick to confess and repent with sincere godly sorrow; not the false repentance and sorrow of the world that brings death.
“For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.” (2Corin.7:10)
The sorrow of the world is the misery of a hardened heart that produces death. Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
