Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"The Mission Begins With a Vision."
"Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”
Vision is on the menu this morning for Breakfast. Joseph's Mission Began With A Vision from a Dream.
God showed Joseph the "ultimate destination" of his Mission - but not the stuff he would pass through to get there! The vision was given to Joseph to inspire and comfort him as he walked this journey by Faith with God. He starts this walk at 17 years old and will arrive at his destination when he's 30 years old.
Our Mission to Love God Supremely and our Fellow Man Equally begins with a Vision also. Our Vision is our Commander! We "see Him by Faith" as our Model, when His Love destroys our selfishness and rebellion, and captures our heart. His Love begins to grow in us and transform us More into His image and likeness. Our Mission begins with His Love and leads us to our final destination in Heaven.
The beginning and ending is the same for all Warriors - it's the journey and timeline that are unique for each Warrior. However, throughout our journey we are inspired and comforted by "seeing our Invisible Model," walking with us, loving us, speaking with us, and empowering us through all the tribulations of life, as He did for Joseph.
Those who hated Joseph actually were used to propel him toward his destination; getting him into Egypt, so Potiphar could buy him, and put him jail, so he could interpret a dream, and Pharoah would learn of his gift, and see his gift operate; and make him Pharoah's deputy - so Israel and his brothers would all bow down to him for food!
Hear this Warrior! Our Commander allows tribulation in our life to build us in Faith and to propel us into Our Mission for Him on this earth. Yes, He works ALL things, (good stuff and bad stuff), to work together for our good; to complete our Mission. (Rom.8:28). Be confident of this, as you travel this journey; that He will finish what He has started in you! (Phil.1:6). He did this with Joseph and He will do this with you and I. March on with your Commander my fellow Warrior! Ooooh Rah!
