Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(1Chron. 4:24 - 5:26)
“The Prayer Connection”
Text: 1 Chron. 5:20
“And they were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all who were with them, for they cried out to God in the battle. He heeded their prayer, because they put their trust in Him.”
“The Prayer Connection,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
Prayer is “the umbilical cord,” between God and His children. The way the umbilical cord connects a growing baby in the womb with their mother, and the way a Branch is connected to the Vine; is the way Prayer Connects God with His People!
When connected with God, Life, and Divine Resources flow from God through us as His Warriors. Opposing spiritual armies are conquered miraculously by being connected with God by Prayer. Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh “were helped” by God to conquer their wicked neighbors because they cried out to God in Prayer, and Put their Trust in God.
In trouble we are quick to pray and trust in God. However, when we are enjoying the fruits of victory, we soon forget how much we need to Stay Connected To God by Prayer.
This is what happened with these 2 1/2 tribes of Israel. When their livestock multiplied and life was pleasant, they relaxed they “cut the cord” of Prayer and became unfaithful to God.
Listen up Warrior! We have no Life without The Prayer Connection. Listening to and Talking with God throughout each day “maintains” our Connection to Him. This is how we Trust Him and Acknowledge Him in all our ways:
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.”(Prov. 3:5-6).
We Stay Connected with God in the Storms of Life, in the Springtime seasons of peace and prosperity, and in the everyday stuff of life. Like an umbilical cord and a Branch, and the breath we breathe, Prayer Keeps Us Connected To Our Commander Jesus Christ At All Times! Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
