Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(Leviticus 5:14 - 6:7)
“The Trespass Offering”
Text: Leviticus 6:7
“So the priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD, and he shall be forgiven for any one of these things that he may have done in which he trespasses.”
“The Trespass Offering,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
The Hebrew word used here for trespass literally means “trespass of a trespass,” or guilt of a trespass. It was in effect a double sin:
Failing to love God supremely and your neighbor equally - and also stealing.
This offering was an extension of the sin offering. It involved a trespass against God regarding withholding the holy things that belonged to God. It also was a trespass against their neighbor; stealing and taking what belonged to their neighbor.
The Trespass offering required restitution of 20 percent of the value of what was taken in addition to restoring what was taken.
When I thought about my life as an unbeliever I saw that I had stolen what belonged to God - my heart and my surrendered life. When I truly understood this I confessed and repented of this sin of rebellion.
Every time I knowingly or unknowingly disobey God I am also stealing what belongs to Him - my life of obedience. Holy Spirit convicts me of this sin and I confess and repent of it “and depend upon the sin offering of my Commander Jesus Christ!
Oh please hear me Warrior. God’s Love for you and I compelled Him to be our All Sufficient Sacrifice for all sin forever! Knowing this Truth, how can we not Love Him Supremely and Depend Upon Him Completely.
Oh Hallelujah! Our human frailty and weakness is met by His Absolute Power, Perfect Knowledge, and Constant Presence Everywhere -
And we walk together everywhere.
He is our Treasure and we are His earthen vessel and Showroom for the world!
“Oh how I love Jesus.
Oh how I love Jesus.
Oh how I love Jesus
Because He First Loved Me……”
Because of Love He Gave Himself for you and I -
Because of Love we gave ourselves to Him as a Living Sacrifice for Him (Rom.12:1-2)
Warrior at your side,
Jesus and Billy
