Good Morning Marine!
Word for the Day:
(Deuteronomy 13:1 - 14:21)
Text: Deuteronomy 13:4
“You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.”
“Unchanging Truth,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
Moses repeats this unchanging truth to Israel: to love God supremely and your fellow man equally. When we obey this truth we will walk after the LORD our God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; and serve Him and hold fast to Him.
Love God Supremely was the first Commandment at Mount Sinai and it’s still the first and great commandment today, it is unchanging truth.
The world changes, people change, seasons change, but the Truth of God’s Word never changes.
Man’s law is always changing to “fit in” with the changing culture of mankind. God’s Law changes you and I to “fit in” to the culture of heaven.
Oh Hallelujah! God’s unchanging Truth walks with you and I, changing us from glory to glory, as we keep His commandment and obey His voice; serving Him and holding fast to Him.
Aaaah Yes, the unchanging Truth of God’s Word, and the work of Holy Spirit in our heart, guides our heart and behavior as we move forward through all the stuff of life, changing seasons, changing people, and changing culture of this world.
In a sentence, here’s the principle rule of all human conduct:
“Love God Supremely and your fellow man the way God loves them.”
This is Unchanging Truth! Oooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
