Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
“Waiting; The Place Where Trust is Proven”
Text: 1 Samuel 13:8
“Then he waited seven days, according to the time set by Samuel. But Samuel did not come to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.”
“Waiting, The Place Where Trust is Proven,” is what’s on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
King Saul is a picture of most, if not all, of the rulers in this world - he trusted in himself, waited on himself, was impulsive and selfish. Saul’s Trust in God had been abandoned shortly after he had become king; and his trust in himself was Proven by his impatience, impulsive self-worship, and his indifference toward his own people.
When we Trust in God we Wait on Him. Our Trust in Him is Proven by waiting on Him; even in desperate situations when people are abandoning us, and the enemy is threatening to overwhelm us!
We Prove God’s Word when we Choose to wait upon Him because we KNOW:
“…..those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.” (Isa.40:31).
The Warrior Is Ready To Stand Alone With God against any and all spiritual enemies - any time - BECAUSE WE TRUST IN OUR GOD; Yahweh, God of Battles, Our Commander and King!
We know God Is With Us At All Times! He’s not Coming To Us - He Is With You and I ALWAYS! Ooooh Rah!
We wait on Him, we Trust in Him, and we are always ready, as sheep for the slaughter to die on the battlefield of Faith With Our King and Commander! (Rom.8:36).
Let us Look at our Commander Jesus Christ the Perfect Servant Leader, the Perfect King, and our Example.
He waited upon His Father, always doing what pleased His Master; all the way to the death of the Cross, and Resurrection from the Grave! Ooooh Rah!
Now, He is the Warrior’s Master, and you and I follow His example and wait on Him, Love Him, and Serve Him, and Walk With Him With Our Surrendered Life. (Rom.12:1-2).
“Waiting, is the Place Where Our Trust is Proven.”
It’s our highest privilege to Wait On Our King as His Warrior. Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
Jesus and Billy
