Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"Warriors of Hope"
"According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, each according to his service and according to his task; thus were they numbered by him, as the LORD commanded Moses."
Warriors of Hope is on the menu for Breakfast this morning. That's what we signed up for when we gave our life to Jesus Christ.
This world desperately needs Warriors of Hope today!
The Levites were all chosen to serve the Tabernacle and God's people. They were assigned specific tasks, detailed in our reading this morning. They were Warriors of Hope, because they Served the God of Hope. "The Lord will be the hope of His people, and the strength of His people Israel." (Joel. 3:16).
We were chosen as Warriors of Hope to Serve Our Commander, Living Hope, (1 Pet.1:3-9); and His Church the Body of Christ. As the Levite's were assigned specific tasks so each of us have been assigned a Plan of Good Works to walk in obediently (Eph.2:10). We walk in this plan of good works by following our Commander's footsteps, every day; reading, chewing, and applying His Word to our life each day makes us Shine as Hope for the world we live in. In times of uncertainty and chaos we shine brightest in the deepest darkness. "In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us," (Rom.8:37). And we walk confidently as Warriors of Hope knowing that "Whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith," (1John 5:4). Our Commander is the Hope of Glory within us, (Col. 1:27-29) that makes us His Warriors of Hope! Oooh Rah!
