Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(Exodus 1:1 - 2:22)
“We Grow and Multiply From Adversity”
Text: Exodus 1:12
“But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were in dread of the children of Israel.”
This Truth that “We Grow and Multiply From Adversity,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
This Truth has been tested and proven through the history of mankind; the people of God have Grown and Multiplied from the adversity they have suffered.
We have grown and multiplied both as an individual, like Moses, and also as a spiritual nation, like Israel.
This Truth has always been a Terror and Dread of the devil and his crew.
Egypt was terrified of Israel.
Moses was born in this adversity under a death sentence as a Hebrew baby boy - like you and I were born under a death sentence as a sinner.
His godly parents covered him with their faith and taught him the ways of God:
“By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command.”(Heb.11:23)
After 40 years in the Palace Moses made his choice to leave the pleasures of Pharoah’s palace and identify with his Hebrew brethren; he chose to be a slave instead of a Prince - he chose Adversity.
“By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,
choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin,
esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.
By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.”(Heb.11:24-27).
You and I as Warrior’s chose to leave the pleasures of this world and identify with Jesus Christ as a slave of righteousness:
“And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.”(Rom.6:18).
Can you see the Growth and Multiplication in your life; your Love, Faith, and Trust in God that you’ve gained from adversity?
Even the trial of your Faith that is more precious than gold (1Pet.1:7).
When we chose Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we chose adversity in this world.
When Jesus chose to rescue, redeem, restore, and adopt you and I He Chose the Adversity of the Cross, and He also chose to be our Eternal High Priest!
Growth and Multiplication are the results of Adversity.
Hear the Word of your Commander:
“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” (James 1:2-4).
We Grow and Multiply From Adversity! Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
Jesus and Billy
