Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(Esther 7 & 8)
“When evil is Turned to Good”
Text: Esther 7:9
“Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king, “Look! The gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king’s behalf, is standing at the house of Haman.”
Then the king said, “Hang him on it!”
God’s way of Turning evil to Good,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
Haman, the enemy of the Jews, was hanged on the gallows he had prepared for Mordecai!
King David said it this way:
“Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity;
Yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood.
He made a pit and dug it out,
And has fallen into the ditch which he made.
His trouble shall return upon his own head,
And his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown.” (Psa.7:14-16).
Haman stands as our spiritual enemy satan.
This liar and deceiver moved the people to crucify our Lord on the Cross; and the Cross became the instrument of satan’s death and defeat. The devil fell by the “gallows” he prepared for Jesus!
Our Dinner Date with Jesus last night showed us the “gallows” of the Lake of Fire and Brimstone that are waiting for our enemy the devil (Rev.20:10).
Even though Haman was hanged the King’s Decree of death for the Jews was still active. So the King made another decree for the Jews to defend themselves.
As Warriors we know our spiritual enemy the devil has been defeated once and for all at the Cross; yet his final judgement has not arrived yet. So, until that day, our King Almighty God has written a Decree, that His Decree of Judgement for sin has been fully satisfied by His Son’s death on the Cross; and by Faith in this fact, God’s sons and daughters can defend themselves against their spiritual enemies with the full power and authority of their Father Almighty God! The Warrior gives their spiritual enemies the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God - Our Father’s Decree! Ooooh Rah!
Listen up Warrior! Evil was turned to Good forever at the Cross; where The Innocent died for the Guilty.
Haman’s gallows, 75feet high, was where the Guilty (Haman) died for the Innocent (Mordecai).
The Warrior’s Life at Salvation was turned from evil to the righteousness of God in Christ; (2Corin.5:21), by the power of Holy Spirit and our Faith in Jesus Christ.
The evil and shame of our past has been turned to Good for God’s Glory as a Testimony of His Grace and Mercy transforming our life (2Corin.3:18). This is what happens when evil is turned to good! Ooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
