Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
“When Holy is treated as Common”
Text: Leviticus 10:3
“And Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the LORD spoke, saying:
‘By those who come near Me
I must be regarded as holy;
And before all the people
I must be glorified.’ ”
So Aaron held his peace.”
“When Holy Is treated as Common,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
God’s Fire had fallen from heaven to consume the offering, and the people were worshipping God in reverential fear. In this highly emotional moment Nadab and Abihu rush into the Tabernacle with “their own censer,” not the consecrated censer; and “their own fire,” not God’s fire that had fallen from heaven - and God’s Fire falls again from heaven and kills them.
This act of Nadab and Abihu offering strange Fire mocked the Holiness of God, by their imitation of God’s commanded order with their own personal pleasure. Their heart had drifted away from God. This is what happens When Holy is treated as Common.
God’s Fire searches the heart of man to Judge the evil of those who worship their selfish interests, and to grant Mercy to those who fear and obey His commands.
Life and Death is in the Heart of man; Life for those who Love and regard God as Holy, and Death to those who treat God as common.
“For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?” (2Corin.2:15-16)
The lesson we learn from the priests Nadab and Abihu is to Guard our Heart at all times.
“Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.”(Prov.4:23).
Is our censor of Praise and Worship filled with the incense of “self-will, and what can I get out of this?” Or is it filled with the incense of the awe and wonder of my Holy and Majestic God!
“Oh, I worship You Almighty God
There Is None Like You!”
Holy Spirit Will empower you and I to “be the fragrance of Christ,” to this lost and dying world; as you and I revere our God as Holy and Glorify Him in our Life.
The Religious Leaders treated our Holy, Son of Man, Son of God as Common....
Holy Must Never Be Treated as common in a Warrior’s Life! Oooh Rah!
Passion Week Devotional
Day 7 Today
“The Futile Suppression of Peace”
The religious leaders asked Pilate for a guard to secure the tomb and seal the stone to ‘prevent’ the disciples from ‘taking the body of Jesus, and claiming He had risen from the dead.
See the foolishness of religion that tries to suppress and hold down this Truth of Victory over death, hell, and the grave!
Yes, it was dark with heartache and disappointment on Saturday for the disciples - but Sunday is coming! The Glorious Victory will be in full bloom for everyone to see!
“God’s Peace Under Fire will Grow Stronger”
Consider our ways:
“How do I behave in times of disappointment and chaos? How do I live when God’s Peace in me is tested? Take a deep breath Warrior. Take a few deep breaths. Turn your eyes upon Jesus - just say the Name of Jesus; and God’s Peace will Grow Stronger than the disappointment and chaos, and Whisper “Sunday’s coming....” Oooh Rah!
Oh God, help me to let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.(Phil.4:7) Thank You for Your Peace Lord.....
Let’s chew on this meditation today..
Warrior at your side,
